Orange film-burn flash into a word card

An orange to yellow film-burn leak with a bright vertical streak floods the frame for about 0.3 s and drops out to a black card with a giant ghost word behind a small red caption. Punctuating a key number or word with a dramatic jump from live footage to a black emphasis card.

Use this transition between my clips: "Orange film-burn flash into a word card" from the 24fps video editor library.
Preset JSON: https://24fps.dev/video-editor/transitions/orange-film-burn-flash-into-word-card-e1x/preset.json (pass its "preset" to the engine).
Engine (MIT, no dependencies, ES module): https://24fps.dev/editor/engine.js. Download the engine next to your page (curl -O) rather than importing cross-origin, then import { mount } from "./engine.js" in a <script type="module"> served over http.
Wiring: root = a position:relative box at the video's size. media = { a, b }: two wrappers holding clip A and clip B, both filling the root. Clip A plays first; the cut happens at preset.at (3.6s) over preset.dur (0.4s), so start clip B at preset.at. Then const fx = mount(root, { kind: "transition", preset, media }) and call fx.render(seconds) every frame. It is seek-safe: drive it from the GSAP timeline in HyperFrames or call render(frame / fps) in Remotion. Before capturing frames, await (fx.ready ?? document.fonts.ready).

Technique
Burn plate orange (#ff7a1a) to yellow-white, brightness peaks ~195 of 255 at +0.1 s; used both entering (3.6 s, 5.3 s) and leaving (5.3 s, 6.9 s, 7.1 s) the card. Source preview audio is voice only (no music bed, no whoosh or hit visible in the spectrogram), so no sound cue is listed.
