Dim and echo-stack keyword

In 3 s: the footage dims to about a quarter brightness by 1 s while a single red keyword repeats down the frame in fading outlines. Serious, legal, real-estate or coaching clips with one load-bearing word.

Open my video with this hook: "Dim and echo-stack keyword" from the 24fps video editor library.
Preset JSON: https://24fps.dev/video-editor/hooks/dim-echo-stack-hook-e4x/preset.json (pass its "preset" to the engine).
Engine (MIT, no dependencies, ES module): https://24fps.dev/editor/engine.js. Download the engine next to your page (curl -O) rather than importing cross-origin, then import { mount } from "./engine.js" in a <script type="module"> served over http.
Wiring: root = a position:relative box at the video's size. media = { main }: main is a wrapper holding my video, filling the root. Then const fx = mount(root, { kind: "text", preset, media }) and call fx.render(seconds) every frame. The preset runs 4s from t = 0; offset t to place it later. It is seek-safe: drive it from the GSAP timeline in HyperFrames or call render(frame / fps) in Remotion. Before capturing frames, await (fx.ready ?? document.fonts.ready). Check it on my footage: if text is hidden behind the subject or doesn't read against my colours, nudge the layer positions or colours.
Replace the demo text with mine: set preset.layers[n].text (use \n for line breaks); if none given, write lines that fit my footage and tell me.
Hook formula: [Starting phrase] then [KEYWORD] repeated six times; the keyword is whatever the sentence is about: [Contracts] / [Home] / [Consistency].
Pair with captions preset caps-small-white-red-big-hit (https://24fps.dev/video-editor/captions/caps-small-white-red-big-hit/preset.json); the captions kind takes script as [{ w, s, e, emph }], plus karaoke and activeColor.

Formula
[Starting phrase] then [KEYWORD] repeated six times; the keyword is whatever the sentence is about: [Contracts] / [Home] / [Consistency].
Example lines
The one thing I've learned is that consistency really is the key. · When you're first starting out navigating contracts... · So you're ready to buy your first home. · Here's the first thing you need to do.
Beats
0.0s Normal bright footage, small white caption begins. → 0.2s Footage dims from 100 to about 26 percent brightness with a bottom-weighted vignette. → 0.4s Six stacked copies of the keyword rise in: five faint red outlines and one solid red copy. → 1.0s Dim hold; the solid copy travels to the caption line and back as emphasis words arrive. → 3.0s Stack fades; brightness returns to about 100 percent by 3.6 s.
